What Is Positive Thinking?
To explain positive thinking I want to stay as far away as possible from making this seem like a complicated or difficult subject. I have no intentions of making this seem like some holy practice that takes a guru or master to implement into their daily life.
In all reality, thinking positively is an innate trait I believe we all are born with. From birth and as babies all we did was smile and laugh at our glorious surroundings (maybe I cried a bit LOL).
Either way positive thinking is, in all reality, a super simple and easy to use concept and I guarantee will make dramatic improvements in your life if you take the step right now to start down the path of right thinking TODAY.
So what is it?
From my perspective (only one way to look at it) I believe thinking positively is an engrained habit that comes from always trying to look for the good and positive side of every event, circumstance, person or setback.
In every single moment of your life you have the choice to either feel good or feel bad. To be happy or sad. To focus on solutions or focus on problems. To think positive is to strive as often as possible to look upon the good in any situation!
From personal experience and practicing thinking positive thoughts these past few years (it is always a work in progress, no one is perfect) my outlook and happiness in life has increased tenfold. I’m absolutely serious when I say practicing positive thoughts can be a huge teammate and confidant in your corner no matter what currently is happening in your life.

In our society today and the vast research that has been conducted on the connection of the mind and body we now know that the two are interrelated and that your mental world is directly related to your physical world.
The thoughts you think, feelings you feel and moods you are in are either improving or degrading your health, and this is all up to your choice.
Positive thinking does have immense positive benefits for your health and well-being!
So it stands to reason that if you want to improve the health of your body, feel better and get on the fast-track towards reaching your weight-loss goals, thinking positive and feeling good mentally is actually the first step you need to take!
It’s almost irrelevant to begin a new nutrition program, diet plan or wellness habits if you start them with a negative mind and poor outlook on life.
You are basically setting yourself up for failure if you aren’t actively improving your mindset and beginning to practice positive thoughts.
Looking at the negative side literally deteriorates your health single handedly.

- Start using Positive Affirmations For Weight-Loss. Stating positive declarations everyday about yourself and how you feel about your life is a great starting point to begin building a higher self-confidence level. Thoughts of positivity all lead you on the path of loving yourself, remembering your past successes and having faith that whatever you set out to do, you are able to reach it. Whether that’s a goal to lose weight, find a better job or create more fulfilling relationships, self-esteem and how you feel about yourself is the main benefit of positive thinking.
- Start reading inspirational books that help you learn more about yourself and the world. Learning new practical ways to grow a more positive mindset and how to more effectively communicate with people will help you tremendously. Obviously reading books on health and nutrition will help you as well, as learning how to eat properly and what foods can help you lose weight are crucial as well. Below this section I will share a few of my favorite books on positivity and how they can each help you.
- Hire a personal health and wellness coach to help you lose weight and inspire you to be a more positive and uplifting person. Learning to create results for yourself like losing weight is much easier if you can learn from a person who has already produced that same result for themselves. If you are looking to develop more positive habits and healthier routines that will help you to reach your wellness goals, I suggest you look for and find a health coach that will provide you with support, accountability and recommend a nutrition program that will work for you.

Great book that can teach you how to develop a positive mental attitude and how to really train your mind to always see the good side of situations and circumstances.
Author: Will Bowen
