Lose Weight With These Healthy Breakfast Ideas

Breakfast continues to be the most important meal of the day and in my estimation will always be. IF you want to lose weight effectively then it’s crucial to always choose a healthy option for this important meal.

There are a few healthy breakfast ideas I will share with you that will promote healthy activity in your bodies systems in turn helping you to increase your metabolism and lose weight on a more consistent basis.

Healthy Breakfast

A healthy breakfast is going to include a few essential parts: protein, fiber and healthy carbohydrates for energy and a serving or two of a fruit for extra nutrients. IF you stick to this simple concept of breakfast I can promise you that you will feel better.

Our breakfast every morning contains 17 grams of protein and 21 essential vitamins and minerals and only takes 5 mins to make. Oatmeal Deluxe

I love oatmeal and eat  it at least once everyday for a snack in between meals. For someone wanting to lose weight, a full bowl of oatmeal packed with toppings and extras can make a great meal for breakfast.

There are many different options for toppings to add to oatmeal but I’ll share with you how I make my oatmeal deluxe and how to make it extra healthy.

I add 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1/4 cup pecans, 1/8 cup cranberries, 1/8 cup blueberries, 1 scoop personalized protein powder and 1/4 cup of almond milk (heated in microwave for 40 seconds).

With all of these toppings this makes my favorite type of oatmeal and a great healthy option to have for breakfast. You could even eat an apple or orange after to add some extra nutrition into the meal. The amount of fiber from oatmeal will help a lot with weight loss especially in the morning. It will give your digestive system the boost it needs to get your systems in gear for the day!

Tofu Scramble

Another great option for breakfast would be a tofu scramble packed with veggies and a smoothie on the side.

We make our tofu scramble with onion, mushrooms, carrots and kale or spinach. Adding these fresh vegetables along with the scramble adds some healthy carbohydrates and nutrients that make this an amazing healthy breakfast options.

Tofu is one of our favorite sources of protein and one we eat a lot.

Add a spinach and orange smoothie on the side and this makes for a delicious healthy breakfast!
