1. Drink More Water
I am going to guess this isn’t groundbreaking news for you. You’ve probably heard this many times before. There’s a reason for that.
Water is almost 70% of what our bodies are made of so yeah, it’s pretty important. We suggest our clients drink approximately half of their body weight in ounces each day. Drink Purified Water.
2. Eat More Fruit
Don’t worry, the sugar is not going to hurt you. (please don’t believe that the sugar in an apple is the the same as sugar in a doughnut)
Fruit is arguably the best type of food for you to eat because of the nutrients and water content. Here’s why.
3. Find A Coach
Whether you find a health coach, find a wellness coach or even find a life coach, this is an important step in achieving good health.
Finding someone who has already achieved what we want to achieve is powerful especially when they are willing to provide a service to help us get there.
4. Write Out Your Goal
What I mean here is just like what it sounds like. What is your goal for weight or body fat? Or do you have a certain fitness goal like running a mile in a specific time or finishing a 5k race?
Whatever you want to achieve health wise it will help you achieve it much more effectively if you write it down. More in-depth explanation here.
5. Start A Fitness Plan
A fitness plan doesn’t have to be intricate or confusing. It could be as simple as taking a walk around the block every night.
Start with anything that gets you moving and your heart pumping. Play your favorite sport. Lift weights. Practice Yoga.
6. Eat More Vegetables
We all know how key vegetables are to our physical health because of the nutrition they provide, but how many of us actually eat enough vegetables?
When I finally decided to improve my health dramatically a couple of years back I committed to eating more vegetables and the more vegetables I ate, the more I enjoyed them. Get creative and search different recipes that you would like. Just eat more vegetables.
7. Add These Foods To Your Diet
8. Understand the 80/20 Rule of Dieting
This important rule seems to come up in many other areas of life but health and nutrition is one of the majors. Realize that 80% of health comes from nutrition and proper eating and 20% comes from exercise and fitness.
9. Discover The Top Meal Replacement Shakes
These are the best meal replacement shakes for weight loss and the same shakes Kelli used to lose 20 lbs and I implemented to drop 10% body fat.
It’s a super easy addition to any healthy nutrition plan. A full meal containing 200 calories and all of the essential vitamins and minerals you need. Many programs to fit individual specific needs and goals.
10. Hang Around The Right People
This last tip doesn’t seem to come up in discussion when talking about health but it could very well be what’s holding you back.
Who we spend the most time with (friends, family and acquaintances) is who we are most likely to emulate. Are the people you hang around eating healthy and working out consistently? Or are they eating poorly and never going to the gym?
“You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” – Jim Rohn
